his comment has made me think more about this then I would have expected... Maybe we call it a stomach bug because bacteria/germ/ virus (i.e.bug) gets in your stomach... now I am curious...

here's a snippet from Lucien in the bath...
Lucien: Mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy!!!!
Me: What? What's wrong?
Lucien: there's a HAIR on my finger
Me: Well wipe it on the towel
Lucien:I don't want to touch it
Me: You're already touching it
Lucien: That's why I called you to help!

Does he act likes he's been infected with the plague when one of your hairs gets on him? or is that just my child? ;)

after I stopped laughing, and appreciating my 3 yr old's solid deductive reasoning skills, I said "well that would make sense, but... I think they call it a stomach bug because it's annoying when you get sick, like when someone is "bugging" you. It's not caused by a "real" bug."

this is my friends daughter's comment, but it made me laugh so I thought I would share :)
