My husband took to telling my son, Alek, who was 3 at the time, to keep his rubber on, but never explained what it meant. At a family outing, while we waited for others to join us, my sister-in-law's fiance was telling us he was worried about who would take care of her when he joined the Marines. My son piped up & told him, "Don't worry, I'll take care of her & I'll keep my rubber on too!"

'Alec, how would you like another baby brother or sister'. Alec thinks for a moment and replies 'I don't mind, as long as it isn't one that cries all the time like Kitty and Roxie'
