    Funniest thing out of the blue came out of grand daughter today. Just getting in from school to gram-pas place, she says. Gram-pa what is that smell, whatever it is it smells old."

    Me and my grand daughter were sitting on the couch watching TV and out of no where she says gram-pa looks like your getting younger, you have black hair coming out of your grey hair.

    I walk into the the kitchen to see Roxie (2) sitting by the open freezer holding something suspicious.
    Me: 'What are you eating? We don't have any ice cream.'
    Roxie: *smiles knowingly* 'I just eatin' ice cream. Look, Mama, it orange!'
    Me: 'That's frozen salmon, darling'.

    Early yesterday morning, while being de-iced on the runway. A single voice was heard from a little girl. "Rain rain, go away, come back another day" she sang, for about fifteen minutes straight! Took a few minutes for most to realize the connection, but it definitely provided some comic relief to an otherwise miserable trip.
